Kanwick Steelworks Ltd ("we") is the controller of the personal data you send through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
When you request a quote or contact us: your name, company, email address, phone number, delivery postcode and any drawings or files you upload. When you subscribe to shop notes: your email address.
Why we use it
- To price and deliver the work you asked about (contract, or steps before a contract).
- To send shop notes, if you subscribed (consent — unsubscribe at any time).
- To keep accounting and quality records we are legally required to hold.
Drawings and confidentiality
Drawings are used only to price and make your job. They are not shared outside the company except with a named finishing or testing partner working on your order, under the same confidentiality.
How long we keep it
Quotes that do not become orders: 24 months. Orders, including drawings and material certificates: 10 years, to meet traceability requirements for structural steel.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing estimating@kanwick.example. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
